Using the Census to Situate Your Ancestors in their Community (Ontario focus)

Presented by Janice Nickerson

90-Minute Enhanced Presentation

Our ancestors did not live in isolation; they belonged to communities. Learning about our ancestors’ communities can help us understand them better, tell better stories about them, identify new sources of information and provide the evidence you need to be sure you have the right people. In this enhanced interactive presentation, participants will learn how to use the census to learn more about their ancestors’ neighbours and community.
