Sher has been researching her family for about 45 years, since long before Find My Past and Ancestry were ever thought of.
She has written many books about the history of the area where she lives (and other places), as well as a family history for one branch of her family, proved back to 1598.
She has researched and written 3 genealogical source books — Researching in the Lowlands of Scotland, The Ulster Detective, Putting Flesh on the Bones of your Cornwall and Devon Ancestors.
She has presented many times to the OGS Conference from Cornwall to Windsor, as well as internationally with the Cornish American Heritage Society.
